VDS SA (Vacuum Die-casting Service) is located near Montreux on the Lake of Geneva.  For more than 25 years the firm has manufactured and marketed a complete range of high-speed vacuum shut-off valves and associated control systems with very high performance and excellent reliability, as well as high quality chill vents for lower-cost no-maintenance operation. The ProVac® vacuum system is designed on a modular basis and it is used throughout the world.
VDS aims to produce hi-tech vacuum systems with ever improving performance, and towards that end makes extensive use in development of numerical simulation backed up by testing and measurement.  Furthermore, it not only profits from its own many years of experience in the practice of vacuum pressure die-casting, but also takes account of the feedback from its customers and other commercial users of this technology.

Historic :
Mr. René Bigger, the present director, founded VDS SA in 1987, after six years of experience in vacuum pressure die-casting.  He built up his firm with the goal of offering to his customers services in the vacuum casting domain that were not available elsewhere.  Since that year, VDS has led the way in high speed valve and chill vent technologies for vacuum pressure die-casting.
