The absolute best performance in vacuum control !
The PLC-250 PLUS vacuum controller is the high performance control system from ProVac®, for the highest performance in die and sleeve evacuation with fully reliable operation.
The Programmable Control Unit to operate either one or two Vacuum-valves, piloted by the liquid metal or by the die-casting machine, offers in addition advanced vacuum analysis and monitoring. |
|

|
The main features of the PLC-250 PLUS are
- A Siemens CPU-226 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) communicating with a Simatic OP-73 micro panel or a Simatic TP270 touch panel
Or:
- A Allen-Bradley CPU L23 PLC communicating with a TP PanelView PV Plus 600 Color
- Automatic start-up security at beginning of operation and after interruption of the casting cycle
- Digital indicator for“Vacuum valve 1”, “Vacuum valve 2”, Pollution control, “Vacuum tank”
- Impulse cleaning and cooling of the vacuum valve
- Automatic valve control of suction capacity
- Vacuum control in the valve
- Compressed air control
- Multiple display lamps
- Interface to the die-casting machine by 24-pin Harting plug for signals and alarms
- Mounted in carriage on a 250 litre tank, size : 1870 x 550 x 1000 mm (Height x Width x Depth)
- Vacuum pump: 40 m3/h
- Power: 230 – 400 V / 50/60 Hz, 1.1 kW
- Compressed air connection: 5 – 6 bar
Advantages :
- High performance, Monitoring, Analysis, Archiving;
- Permits the use of the ULTRA valve, the best solution for large castings in all situations;
- Affordable price;
- Easy change of the parameters on the OP-73 or the Touch Panel
- The VAMP offers totally new perspectives for improving the pressure die-casting process and not just for monitoring die evacuation.

|

The ProVac® PLC-250 is the same advanced controller but without the optional VAMP mounted on the right door. The VAMP is a microprocessor supported deep level analysis and control tool for monitoring and optimi-sing cavity evacu-ation. In addition it is a tool to help in describing some general characteristics of the die-casting process. |
 |
It is available in a version with a Touch panel or with smaller and less expensive conventional panel. |
