ProVac® HS (High-Speed) Dual Valve-Pilot-Unit

High-Speed Valve-Pilot-Unit with Dual valve- and Dual electronic layout, for all ProVac® Ultra High-Speed Vacuum-Valves.

Why a Dual Valve-Pilot-Unit ?

The ProVac® Ultra Vacuum-Valves work with extremely short closing-times.  The Ultra valves are highly indebted for their fast closure to the ProVac®  HS Dual Valve, which is the pilot-unit.

This pilot-unit of novel technology adds two advanced electronic circuitries to two reliable fast high flow valves. This dual addition of performance allows extremely fast electro-pneumatic piloting the Ultra vacuum valve.

With the ProVac® HS Dual Valve-Pilot-Unit, the closing-times of the Ultra valve is almost twice as fast as with the previous HS-valve.

The HS-valve was already appreciated for its fastness and reliability during about 7 years  by a large number of our customers in Europe, America and Asia.

The new generation of pilot-unit offers longer aspiration times at the very end of the evacuation, thus further quality-improvement of the casts.

Depending on the size of the ProVac®  Ultra valve,  closing times are from 10 to 15 ms.

How the Ultra system works :

ProVac® Ultra Vacuum-Valves are piloted by an electric signal from the die-casting-machine or a metalfront-sensor in the die. The signal is usually generated by the die-casting-machine once the plunger has reached a pre-defined position, most of the time corresponding with the end of the 1st phase, the middle of the 2nd one or sometimes with the end of the 2nd phase depending on the size of the shotweight. The incoming signal at the entry of the programmable Siemens PLC will generate an interruption and instantly trigger-off the HS-DUAL Valve-Pilot-Unit for an extremely fast valve-closing-process. The precision of the closing is extremely repeatable, secure and reliable.
